TV/ SMART TV

Considering the sheer amount of TVs flooding the market today, it's harder than ever to find a TV to suit your needs without having completed a degree in rocket science.

Manufacturers are updating their TV range several times a year and keeping up with the latest trends is challenging to say the least, so I'll try and break it down for you in simple terms.

Most current TV models offer the latest in High Definition Free to Air Digital reception, HDMI connectivity and Smart TV features.

The latest type of screens and are packed with High Definition features and current technologies such as Smart TV with Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity , allowing you to connect to the internet ,check out the latest Youtube clips or stream your favourite TV channels. You can also subscribe to the latest Video on demand Streaming services such as Netflix and Stan.

These TVs are considerably more expensive as a result of having all these goodies on board. There are still the basic, entry level TV's available at a much cheaper price.

I am continually asked which TV is the best, and the answer is quite simple.

Firstly, stick to brands you know and trust and go have a look at them on display at a showroom, preferably with Free to Air television playing rather than the flashy 4K display video. This allows you to compare each TV with the same broadcast signal and make a proper comparison.

Secondly, if it's in your budget try to purchase a new TV with the latest technology and features so you are as up to date as possible.
